Montare Behavioral Health is hiring Full Time and PRN CNA's at our adult Behavioral Health Inpatient Facility located in the north foothills of Tucson, AZ!

Position Summary

Under the direction of the DON, the CNA's work closely with the nurses, behavioral health techs, and other multidisciplinary team members to respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of our clients in a residential treatment setting.

Schedule (8hr shifts):

PRN 7am-3:30pm & 3pm-11:30pm 

Full Time 7am-3:30pm & 3pm-11:30am

**For full-time, must be available at least one weekend day. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Provide supportive, respectful care to clients receiving mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, as needed.
• Assist with intakes and orienting new clients to the facility and program schedule.
• Monitor and document clients' physical condition, behavior, and changes in functioning.
• Obtain and record vital signs as directed.
• Observe clients for signs of distress, withdrawal, fall risk, or other safety concerns and promptly report to nursing and clinical staff.
• Support client safety and well-being through assigned rounds and observation procedures.
• Participate in crisis intervention with the ability to de-escalate and ensure the safety of clients and others 
• Assist with daily medication counts, medication storage and medication room audits. 
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the medication room and all other common areas utilized by clients.
• Attends and participates in regularly scheduled meetings and trainings
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Current Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• One year experience working in a psychiatric health-care facility or residential treatment setting required . 
• Experience working with patients detoxing from substances preferred.  
• Must have a Level I AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card, and able to pass required background clearances.
• Display proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Current Arizona Driver License, and clean, 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to work in a team environment.
