RN Surgical Services - Circulating & Recovery Room

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Services team. The RN will provide circulating and recovery room nursing care for surgical patients, ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide circulating nurse services in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Deliver recovery room (PACU) nursing care and monitor patients during post-anesthesia recovery.
• Prepare patients for scheduled surgical procedures and assist with pre-operative assessments.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing interventions as needed to ensure optimal care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Assist the surgical team in various capacities according to established policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient condition throughout the perioperative process and respond appropriately to changes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana.
• Minimum of 3 years of Surgical Services, Operating Room, Circulating, and/or Recovery Room (PACU) nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification at the Healthcare Provider level.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative surgical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Operating Room and PACU experience.
• Experience with perioperative nursing standards and best practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Montana RN License (Required)
• BLS/CPR Healthcare Provider Level (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)

Location: Lewistown, MT 59457

Duration: 13 weeks/ 3 months

Salary Range: $50- $54/hr

Shift Timing: 8-hour shifts, 40 hrs week
