This position is for a faculty role at our organization’s Family Medicine Residency Clinic located at Fort Bragg, NC.

Named in honor of Medal of Honor recipient PFC Bryant H. Womack, we are a fully accredited 110-bed regional medical center and Graduate Medical Education (GME) facility serving Fort Bragg, which is home to Airborne and Special Operations and is the largest U.S. Army installation globally. We operate several excellent Primary Care practice locations in Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Linden Oaks.

As a Family Practice Physician, your duties will include:

• Providing direct supervision, guidance, and instruction to medical residents and students who rotate through the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Acting as an attending physician, examining patients, determining the necessity for laboratory tests, x-rays, and other procedures to gather medical information and make diagnoses, while mentoring residents.
• Making preliminary diagnoses of more complex or rare conditions and consulting with appropriate specialists as needed.
• Overseeing medical students, physician assistant students, and nurse practitioner students assigned to the Primary Care Services Division within the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Adhering to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards for residency faculty, which includes participating in organized clinical discussions, faculty development, and educational presentations.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine.
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada, or possess a degree from a foreign medical school that is substantially equivalent, as demonstrated by permanent certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or a fifth pathway certificate for those who completed premedical education in the U.S. and graduate education abroad.
• Candidates must hold a permanent, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
