Freelance Motion Designer

Nen Creative is hiring a freelance Motion Designer for a fully remote, project-based engagement. Responsibilities Design and animate motion for launch videos , commercials , product explainers , social content , and brand campaigns Create motion deliverables from concept through final delivery across 2D , UI , typography , compositing , and edit-driven animation Turn creative direction and storyboards into motion that matches the intended tone , pacing , and feel Collaborate with producers , editors , designers , and directors to bring ideas to life Iterate quickly based on feedback from creative leads and clients while maintaining craft and detail Deliver strong work while managing speed and quality across multiple projects and deadlines Apply strong taste and attention to detail to refine work until it feels exceptional Requirements 3 to 5 years of experience as a motion designer, ideally in a studio, agency, or in-house creative team A strong reel showing range in product and UI motion , brand work , and edit-driven animation Expert in After Effects ; comfortable working in Figma and DaVinci Resolve Strong visual design foundations across type , layout , color , composition , and timing Real point of view on motion including easing , transitions , and restraint , with the ability to discuss decisions Comfort taking feedback and iterating quickly without losing momentum Experience working in studio , agency , or fast-moving startup environments Technologies After Effects Figma DaVinci Resolve About the opportunity Project-based freelance role with fully remote setup and flexibility to scale hours up or down Work across launch videos, commercials, product explainers, social content, and brand campaigns for a roster of tech clients Hands-on collaboration with producers, editors, designers, and directors; creative direction comes from Nen Creative's team, with room to contribute ideas Own motion work from concept to final delivery , iterate quickly on feedback, and deliver craft on every frame Fast-moving studio pace with direct involvement in production Location: San Francisco, CA (remote) Job type: Freelance Minimum experience: 3 years #J-18808-Ljbffr
