Role Overview:

This role involves providing specialized care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, ranging from high to low risk in labor and delivery settings. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to patient and family-centered care is essential. The position requires orientation and training in various competencies and care modes across the OB service. Flexibility to float among units to accommodate variable needs of volume and acuity is expected.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least two years of experience in labor and delivery. OR and triage experience is highly desired.
• Licensure: Valid RN License (New York).
• Certifications:
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification required.
