Machine Operator

Job Description Job Title: Machine Operator Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor Position Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures and specifications Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and detect any issues Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machines Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and efficiency Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications Record production data, including quantities, downtime, and defects Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems to maintenance or supervision Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or specifications Strong attention to detail and quality Good communication and teamwork skills Good Attendance required Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds as needed Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels Work Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing setting Exposure to moving machinery, loud noise, and industrial materials Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Schedule: Full-time; may include overtime and weekends, depending on production needs. Shifts:

1. st Shift: M-F, 7a-3:30p
2. nd Shift: M-F, 3:30p-12a (includes $1/hour Shift Differential)
3. rd Shift: Su-Th, 10:30p-7a (includes $2/hour Shift Differential)
