Litigation Attorney

This role will be responsible for managing complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, court appearances, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate with excellent legal writing skills, substantial litigation experience, and the ability to independently manage a demanding caseload. Job Requirements Manage a portfolio of complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution. Handle business disputes, breach of contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, fiduciary duty claims, and other commercial litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents. Conduct and defend depositions, witness interviews, and fact investigations. Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, production, and dispute resolution. Prepare and argue substantive motions in state and federal courts. Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and trial strategy development. Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal advice throughout the litigation process. Work collaboratively with partners and litigation team members on complex matters. Maintain high-quality legal work product while managing multiple active cases simultaneously. Job Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the Florida Bar. Minimum 5 years of commercial/business litigation experience. Experience handling complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, and fiduciary duty claims. Experience independently managing litigation matters with minimal supervision. Experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience appearing in court and arguing substantive motions. Excellent verbal communication and client relationship management skills.
