Team Leader
A Team Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership and shift leaders in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Leadership, Management, Accountability (LMA)
- Training Team Members according to Pathway Procedures and our Trello Checklist
- Assist the Shift Leader in ensuring checklist completion and/or check off
- Counting Drawers and Making Deposits (Cash Management)
- Answering the phone (Guest Assistance/Resolution & Catering Orders)
- Leading by Example (Sense of Urgency, Work according to Pathway procedures, etc.)
Team Leader Scorecard:
- Aim for/Execute Top 20% of Chain for all CEM Scores
- Aiding Daily to maintain/reach Food Safety Score of 1
- Achieve Drive Thru SOS (Speed of Service) of less than 3 minutes
- Checklist Completion Rate of 95 - 100%
Roles and Responsibilities
- Model Chick-fil-A procedures, Core 4, and WHED Strategy in all areas
- Can recite the Corporate Purpose, Store's Mission Statement, WHED Strategy, Core 4, & Core Values
- Actively exhibits the Core Values (CARES) and the store's Core Virtues
- Train/Coach new and existing team members of proper procedures
- Document ALL training progress using Trello
- Execute all training procedures and provide on-the-job feedback/coaching
- Handle Guest Complaints/Concerns using the HEARD method when appropriate
- Answer the store phone when needed & handle issues that arise
- Accurate Take, Prepare, and Fulfill Catering Orders
- Perform Training check-ins
- Continue to develop soft skills on how to address people, conflict resolution, etc.
- Contribute feedback for both new hire 10, 20, & 30 Day Evaluations and current Team Member evaluations
- Ensure Safe Daily & eRQA have been completed for the shift
- Ensure the area you are working in is operating smoothly; Assist the Shift Leader
- Ensure the assigned Deep Cleaning tasks are completed daily
- Ensure VSBL checklists are assigned & completed by Team Members; Hold Team Members accountable for accuracy of completed tasks & overall checklist completion or failure to complete their checklist.
- Count down drawers and ensure money is deposited into the back safe
- Knows what to do in case of Emergencies (Severe Weather, Robberies, etc.)
