As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality nursing care is provided to our patients. About the Role: As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, including staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will lead by example, promoting a culture of compassion, empathy, and respect. Your expertise will help ensure that our nursing staff is equipped to provide exceptional care to our patients, while also promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and quality assurance Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices Foster a culture of excellence, promoting a patient-centered approach to care Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure effective communication and teamwork Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of staff and materials Develop and implement staff development programs to enhance skills and knowledge Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing leadership , with a focus on long-term care or rehabilitation Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, policies and procedures Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for growth and advancement Collaborative and supportive work environment Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance Professional development and training opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
