Location & Job Category Location 2201 Southeast Sailfish Point Boulevard, Stuart, FL, 34996, United States Job Category Fitness & Recreation Overview Position Summary: This position provides excellent service at the Fitness Center while ensuring the health and safety of all participants. Monitors fitness area/classes for requests/needs. Assist with supervision of the exercise and fitness areas of the club, including assisting Members/Guests with their exercise and fitness programs. This position reports to the Fitness Manager. Responsibilities Greets all members and guests. Monitors fitness area for neatness, picks up towels and any items left behind, and puts accessories back where they belong. Wipes down all equipment after use with clients. Promotes activities of the Fitness department. Assists with proper use of machinery. Communicates issues/concerns to the Fitness Manager in a timely manner. Skills and Abilities Has knowledge of fitness equipment. Can assist members with basic fitness questions. Knowledge of human body/machinery is needed. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to promote activities to members and guests. Can recommend and implement creative marketing ideas. Regularly updates choreography and music playlists. Is flexible with schedule to accommodate changing member needs or Fitness Center needs. Is a team player with a positive attitude. Education, Training, Certificates, Licenses Must be a Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized certification. Working Conditions This position requires the ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, stretch, climb stairs, and reach, in order to handle phones, unpack boxes, clean fitness equipment, etc. Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs. on a regular basis.
