The operation's commitment to utilizing advanced technologies and sustainable practices strongly emphasizes safety and environmental stewardship. Located in southeastern Arizona, close to more than 4 million acres of national forest, employees and their families can connect with the great outdoors while fishing, rafting, hiking and more. Several educational institutions also are nearby, including a Northern Arizona University satellite campus, Eastern Arizona College, and the Gila Institute for Technology.ResponsibilitiesAssist in providing technical advice and guidance for designated Engineering projects and programs at assigned site.Assist in the review, investigation and development of appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projectsParticipate on small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projectsAdminister contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipmentDevelop working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations appropriate to area of assignmentPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline with no experience requiredKnowledge of the principles and practices of EngineeringAble to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusionsAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsSkilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) CertificationKnowledge and experience of power systems engineering including equipment design and specification, installation, testing and commissioning of industrial power systemsKnowledge and experience of power systems studies including load flow, short circuit, coordination, and Arc flash study and MitigationKnowledge and experience in designing process automation system including experience of producing instrumentation and control, P&ID drawingsKnowledge and experience with AutoCAD and/or VisioSelf-motivated with excellent work ethicProficiency in MS OfficeCompensationThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $75,000-$104,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
