Patient Intake Representative
$17.75 - $21 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Patient Intake Representative for its Wilmington, Delaware laboratory location. The role involves scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying insurance, and performing administrative tasks in a Monday-Friday morning shift with rotating Saturday hours.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and greet patients upon arrival
- Register patients, verify insurance coverage, and process payments
- Collect and prepare specimens for testing when required
- Verify accuracy of test orders by contacting physician offices
- Manage office supplies and perform clerical duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year customer service experience
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to pass colorblindness test
- Team-oriented with high attention to detail
Compensation: $17.75 - $21.00 per hour
