About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Emergency Room nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to observation or clinical decision units
• Strong critical thinking and triage skills in high-volume emergency settings
