PROGRAM ANALYST

Job DutiesYou will develop, communicate, recommend approval, and implement the approved Surface Force capabilities plan.You will provide input to N8 POM planning, programming, budgeting, and execution system (PPBES) SME on long and short-range budgetary proposals to support Echelon II command actions.You will ensure that N8 directorate goals and objectives are aligned to CNSP and CNSL strategic plans, goals, and objectives.You will determine best methods to assess and analyze warfighting effectiveness of capability gaps, based on IPCL annual recommendations.You will develop TYCOM Integrated Prioritized List (TIPL) of 1-N systems for Echelon I resource sponsor funding.You will utilize results of TIPL development to collaborate with the N8 Science and Technology (S/T) Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the identification and development of S/T initiatives, and Fleet experimentation and exercises.You will maintain liaison with points of contact at OPNAV, USFF, TYCOMs, Numbered Fleet Commands, System Commands, other Federal departments and agencies, industry and academia for the collaboration of emerging capabilities.You will ensure coordination with N8 Future Force Transition Lead regarding new acquisition requirements.You will assure the validity and timeliness of Baseline Configuration Change Plan (BCCP) data, system wholeness assessments, and related capabilities assessments.
