Growing together.An EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) QE (Quality Engineer) professional is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data within the data warehouse environment. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Validating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AI toolsVerifying source-to-target data mappingsTesting data transformationsLeveraging AI CoPilot, Python ensuring that reports and dashboards reflect accurate business informationCollaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and developers to identify data issues, create comprehensive test plans and test cases, and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycleTechnology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technological functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and servicesStrategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and deliveryGenerally, work is self-directed and not prescribed, Works with less structured, more complex issues, Serves as a resource for othersAI Builder Persona: Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation and who designs, delivers AI solutions, platforms and automations at scale in their daily workActively participate in walk-through, inspection, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assuranceDevelop test cases and prioritize testing activities, validate ETL processExecute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defectCarry out regression testing every time changes are made to the code to fix defectsPrepare the status report for testing activitiesMentor and direct other testers in automation and software engineering principlesDevelop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverageConstantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approachCollaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user storiesShare and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audienceParticipate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovateResearch and implement tools that support faster delivery with high qualityReviews the work of other testers, and work as mentor per need and develop innovative approachesTest Manager in past has led the adoption of LLM-powered AI agents to automate EDW testing, generating test cases, validating pipelines, and detecting anomalies. This has cut manual effort, boosted coverage, and speed up releasesStrong Understanding of Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture in modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse)Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AIYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree7+ years of accomplished experience in software testing5+ years of experience working as Backend, Database, Datawarehouse migration, ETL tester5+ years of excellent SQL skills and experience working with any one RDBMS5+ years of experience in UI, smoke, E2E and integration testing5+ years of excellent Test Design skills and experience working with any one Test Management tool5+ years of experience with preparation of test plan and strategy5+ years of experience with estimation of testing efforts and working with project managers to prepare project schedule5+ years of experience working in Automation testing for database, PowerBI, Reports & DashboardsPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of MMIS data warehouse migration and data mart validationFamiliarity with CT METS or other state Medicaid agenciesPython Test Automation and GitHub Code Management toolSnowflake Tool KnowledgePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
