Associate II, Field Service Engineering
Globus Medical
Globus Medical seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for medical imaging, navigation, and robotics systems across Pennsylvania and surrounding states. The role involves customer support, system testing, and compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure medical devices on-site at hospital customer locations per established procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal system functionality
- Diagnose and resolve customer-reported issues through troubleshooting and product repair or replacement
- Conduct site acceptance testing and demonstrate system functionality to customer representatives
- Document all customer interactions, service visits, complaints, and RMA processing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- Minimum 5 years field service engineering or technical customer service experience
- Medical device industry experience preferred
- GMP and ISO 13485 knowledge required
- Healthcare capital equipment service background
- MS Office proficiency and ability to travel on short notice
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
