Respiratory Therapist – RRT / CRT, Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD Join Sinai Hospital's Respiratory Care Services team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The role offers a sign‑on bonus of up to $10,000 and full‑time, day or night shift opportunities in a Level II Trauma Center and academic medical center. You will practice full‑scope respiratory care in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment, with tuition reimbursement, advanced technology, and a clear career‑growth path. Schedule: Full‑time, day (7:00am‑7:30pm) or night shift available. Responsibilities Intubate, place arterial lines, manage ventilators independently, and drive clinical decisions. Run rapid assessments, manage airways during codes, and own the respiratory plan of care. Collaborate as an interdisciplinary partner with pulmonologists, intensivists, neonatologists, and surgeons. Care for premature infants in the NICU, pediatric patients in the PICU, mothers in Labor & Delivery, cardiac surgery patients, and trauma patients. Build expertise in rapid assessment, airway management, and whole‑patient critical care. Respond to rapid response and code events across ICU, Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and inpatient units. Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the medical record. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor’s preferred. Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required within 1 year of hire. 1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged. Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) working toward RRT credentialing will be considered. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required at hire.
