What You'll Do

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care to surgical patients, including orthopedic, general, podiatry, GYN/OB (including C-sections), pain management, urology, and endoscopy cases.
• Assist in pre-operative assessments and post-operative recovery.
• Ensure safe medication administration following the five rights.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, physicians, and staff.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Support patient advocacy by respecting cultural and religious beliefs and involving families as appropriate.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and positive communication at all times.

What You Need

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications (current)
• Minimum 1 year experience in surgical or perioperative nursing
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts reliably
