The Manchester Hotel in Lexington Kentucky is seeking a Valet Attendant to join their guest services team. The Manchester follows suit a handsome monument built to Lexington Kentucky's unbridled enthusiasm, warm Southern light, and full-galloped feeling.

As a Valet Attendant at The Manchester Hotel, you will be an integral part of the guest services team, responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless outstanding experience for our guests. This role involves providing excellent customer service and safely and efficiently managing valet parking services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Arrival and Departure: Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival. Assist with the check-in and check-out process, providing information about the hotel's amenities.
• Luggage Assistance: Safely handle guests' luggage, transporting it to and from rooms promptly. Offer assistance with carrying luggage and provide information about room features.
• Valet Parking: Collaborate with the valet parking team to ensure a smooth and efficient parking and retrieval process for guests' vehicles. Safely drive and park vehicles, adhering to company and safety standards.
• Guest Services: Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure coordinated guest services. Relay important information about guest preferences and special requests.
• Safety and Security: Monitor the entrance area for any suspicious activity and report concerns promptly. Adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and their belongings.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Ability to wear uniform completely and properly and be neatly groomed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Capability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use personal cell phone for work purposes.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Physical ability to lift and transport luggage, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
