Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of kitchen operations, health and sanitation standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties (70%)

• Prepare menu items, sauces, salads, and desserts according to recipes and instructions.
• Set up restaurant and employee cafeteria buffets.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, including proper labeling and storage of food items.
• Assist with banquet preparation and buffet setups.
• Assist dishwashers and pantry staff.

Support Duties (20%)

• Communicate effectively with team members and operations leadership in English.
• Follow company policies and attend required meetings.
• Assist Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations.
• Act as primary supervisor in the kitchen in Executive Chef absence.

Professionalism and Communication (10%)

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Actively listen to team members and communicate effectively.
• Adapt to high-pressure situations and demonstrate personal and team accountability.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is required.
• Prior kitchen leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions with precision.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability.
