Plumbing Service Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description Herrema Plumbing is seeking to immediately hire a Plumbing Service Technician to join our team! Benefits: Competitive wages Vacation pay Holiday pay Insurance options Retirement plan with employer match Company truck Responsibilities: Respond to service calls Diagnose plumbing issues and speak with customers to discuss the cause(s), different solutions to fix the problem and the cost associated with completing the job Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing fixtures, pipes and water systems Prepare bids and cost estimates Professional handling of customers plumbing requests Perform a thorough inspection and testing of plumbing systems for safety, functionality and code compliance Collaborate with contractors and construction professionals Communicate with office staff periodically throughout the day to give status updates Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used Requirements: Experience in plumbing, maintenance or another related field Reliable, detail oriented, organized and capable of multitasking Understanding of the plumbing industry and code compliance Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong critical thinking/troubleshooting skills Ability to handle physical workload Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted Ability to manage time efficiently to complete daily service schedule Valid driver's license Must be willing to consent to a background check and drug screening Company Description Herrema Plumbing Inc is a 3rd , family-owned business that has been serving the community for over 50 years.
