Fleet Mechanic – Diesel Truck & EquipmentC&K Industrial Services is hiring a Fleet Mechanic to help maintain our fleet of diesel trucks and heavy equipment. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to keep our equipment safe and running efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on diesel trucks and trailersDiagnose and troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systemsConduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet all safety and compliance standardsIdentify issues and complete repairsMaintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs with supervisorsSupport field operations with mobile repairs when neededAssist mechanics at other company locations as needed to support fleet operationsQualifications2+ years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty truck or equipment repairStrong mechanical and diagnostic skillsCDL Class A or B is a plus (or willingness to obtain)Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditionsAvailable for overtime and on-call shifts as neededFamiliarity with diagnostic equipment and safety protocols preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experiencePaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife, AD&D, and short-term disability coverageCompany-paid uniforms and boot reimbursementTools and all PPE providedSteady, year-round employment with a safety-first culture
