Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Job Description

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse in the OBGYN specialty providing compassionate, high-quality care during overnight shifts. Ensures safe patient management by following clinical protocols, collaborating with providers, and responding promptly to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and clinical status throughout the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established standards of care.
• Support OBGYN clinical workflows by preparing patients for examinations and assisting as needed.
• Document nursing care accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure timely escalation of abnormal findings.
• Maintain infection control practices and promote patient safety in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with eligibility to work in the state where assigned.
• Possess minimum 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care or specialty setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, triage, and documentation skills.
• Provide proof of required compliance documentation for onboarding and credentialing.
• Maintain current certifications as required by the role and organization.
• Respond effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient acuity.
