Job Description Job Description Position Summary Inspect parts in the manufacturing process against drawing requirements and applicable inspection techniques to determine conformance utilizing applicable inspection tools. 1- Day Shift Opening- Hours are from 7:00am -3:30pm- Monday through Friday- Overtime Work required depending on department demands. Must have the ability to work nights/weekends. Hourly Pay Rate: $18:00 - $19.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Examine surfaces in order to find defects and utilize metrology inspection equipment such as feeler gauges, micrometers, calipers and thickness gauges Review, approve or reject parts and document inspection results against part requirements using internal electronic MRP system to document results and route parts to proper departments Communicate with internal personnel to resolve inspection discrepancies Ensure inspection equipment is functional and calibrated Support manufacturing; Areas may include deburring/blending, receiving inspection, and more. Experience with GD&T, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (preferred, not required) Experience with Microsoft applications (Teams) Support manufacturing; Areas may include deburring/blending, receiving inspection, and more. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school or equivalent (Preferred) Able to perform basic computer tasks and have basic typing skills Knowledge and understanding of hand inspection tools (preferred, not required) Experience with basic blueprint reading (preferred, not required) 1+ years of receiving, dimensional, precision, mechanical, or metrological inspection experience Experience within the aerospace, automotive, or similar fields (preferred, not required) Position requires the use of information and access to hardware that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). For this reason, you must be a U.S. persons as defined by ITAR which is a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder).
