This CNC Machinist 2nd shift position (10% shift differential) offers a consistent 4-day workweek (Monday–Thursday) with four 10-hour shifts, giving you every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The Machinist is responsible for reviewing drawings, instructions, and prints to ensure accurate production of precision bearings.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate machine tools such as CNC and/or manual lathes, milling machines, and/or grinders to produce metal parts.Perform setups in accordance with instructions.Read and comprehend G and M code and programs.Check parts during runs with the appropriate gages.Inspect all finished products for accuracy to ensure product quality meets company standards.Report any non-conforming or defective material immediately to a supervisor.Generate programs or edits existing programs as required.Review programs for accuracy.May be required to operate multiple machines or functions internal to primary operations as circumstances permit.Accurately logs direct and indirect time to data collection software.Maintain safe operations of all machine tools and equipment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Exemplify Kingsbury's safety mindset by complying with all safety requirements and acts as a safety ambassador.Attends all company required trainings and meetings. (ie safety and department meetings)Complete special projects, continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Machinist I: High school Diploma or equivalent and 0+ years machining experience using mills, lathes, and/or grinders.Machinist II: High school Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience OR technical diploma or Associates degree in relevant field and 2+ years' experience.Machinist III: High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience OR technical diploma or Associates degree in relevant field and 6+ years' experience.Kingsbury, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
