We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Camp Hill, PA. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Responsibilities include performing physician-prescribed respiratory therapies, operating and monitoring mechanical ventilation, conducting arterial puncture and oximetry/capnography monitoring, performing suctioning and tracheostomy care, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, performing 12-lead EKGs, pulmonary function testing, and participating in equipment maintenance and documentation of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Respiratory Therapist state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Minimum one year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification.
• Experience operating and managing mechanical ventilators, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
• Experience with arterial puncture, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and tracheostomy insertion/removal.
• Experience with cardiopulmonary resuscitation in hospital settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Night 3x12.
• Location: Camp Hill, PA hospital setting.
• Must be able to perform patient transport into and out of the facility as needed.
