Job Description
Bus Monitor Advance Services Inc. is seeking dependable and compassionate individuals to work as Bus Monitors in the Hastings area starting in August 2026. Bus Monitors play a vital role in supporting student safety and well-being while riding to and from school or school-related events. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their community. Wage: $15.00-$16.00 DOE Shift: Day shift- Hours vary by route
Job Duties
- Assist students in safely boarding and exiting the bus.
- Ensure students follow safety procedures and remain seated.
- Provide support to students with special needs or mobility challenges.
- Monitor student behavior and report concerns to the driver or supervisor.
- Communicate respectfully with students, staff, and parents.
- Assist in emergency situations and bus evacuations if needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment on the bus.
High School Diploma or GED preferred
