As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and respond to alarms or security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.32 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:30 AM - 01:30 PMSun05:30 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor records, and following established access-control procedures. Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, and communication equipment; report equipment issues and unusual activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report observed concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of security-related experience. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
