The Opportunity We are hiring a Lawn Maintenance Crew Lead who will take ownership of day-to-day lawn care operations in the field. This role is ideal for someone experienced in commercial mowing and lawn maintenance who is ready to step up and lead a small crew. As Crew Lead, you will be trusted to run routes efficiently, maintain high quality standards, train and mentor crew members, and represent 4 Seasons Landscaping on client properties. What You'll Do Lead a lawn maintenance crew to complete daily mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and property clean-up on residential and commercial sites. Operate and care for commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools. Plan and organize each day’s work to ensure all properties on the schedule are completed on time and to company standards. Use your irrigation knowledge to help diagnose and address basic irrigation issues and support seasonal system checks. Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and crew members, addressing questions or concerns on site. Model and enforce a clean, organized, and professional appearance for vehicles, equipment, and job sites. Follow all safety protocols and company policies, and coach your team to work safely at all times. Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and winter snow plowing as needed. What Success Looks Like Within your first 3–6 months, your crew consistently completes assigned routes on time while meeting or exceeding quality standards and client expectations. Equipment is operated safely, maintained properly, and downtime is minimized through daily care and early reporting of issues. Crew members look to you for direction, receive clear guidance, and improve their speed and quality under your leadership. Clients view you as a professional point of contact on site, with positive feedback on communication, cleanliness, and reliability. What We're Looking For Experience in commercial lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-up. Irrigation experience and working knowledge of basic system operation and troubleshooting. Proven leadership qualities with the ability to guide a team, set expectations, and hold high standards. Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism, with the ability to problem-solve on the job and adapt in a fast-growing company. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs. Willingness to work winter shifts for snow plowing is a plus.
