Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: 2 years of experience as a nurse. At least 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting. Teamwork mentality. Ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled registered nurse to join our emergency department team. The emergency department is a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and strong clinical skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in a high-volume emergency department. Patient ratios typically average 4:1 but can increase during behavioral holds. Techs are available to assist with monitoring and processing. Documentation is managed through a specified electronic health record system. We value patient experience and require adherence to respectful behavior and effective communication. Certification in advanced life support and other related fields is a prerequisite. Candidates with prior experience in a level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center are preferred. This role includes participating in a multicultural community and providing care to diverse patient populations.
