Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Pediatrics/NICU setting, supporting neonatal and pediatric patient populations
• Perform assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring appropriate to NICU and Pediatrics acuity levels
• Float within the Pediatrics department and NICU as operationally required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit protocols, documentation standards, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
• Fulfill every-other-weekend requirements and work 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be considered once permanent license application has been submitted
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in NICU or Pediatrics
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE
• Must be available to float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as required
• Must be willing and able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Must live outside the state of Indiana to be eligible; Indiana residents are considered local and are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
• Experience with charge nurse responsibilities is a plus
• Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric assessment tools and care protocols
