What You'll Do Drive National Growth * Develop and execute a national sales strategy focused on expanding market share and increasing revenue. * Deliver a minimum of 10% annual sales growth through dealer development, strategic account acquisition, and market expansion. * Identify and capitalize on opportunities in underdeveloped and high-potential markets. * Establish revenue goals, performance metrics, and growth initiatives across targeted regions. Expand and Strengthen Dealer Partnerships * Recruit, develop, and support high-performing dealer partners in key strategic markets. * Serve as a trusted advisor to dealers, helping them improve sales effectiveness, marketing execution, and customer engagement. * Communicate the value of partnering with Open Plan Systems and drive long-term dealer success. * Maintain consistent engagement with the dealer network to identify opportunities, address challenges, and accelerate growth. Build Contract and Strategic Account Success * Lead initiatives to strengthen and expand national contract relationships. * Engage directly with targeted contract accounts and key decision-makers. * Participate in the evaluation and pursuit of major projects and business opportunities. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction. Develop Sales Excellence * Deliver training and coaching to dealers and Territory Managers on presentation skills, sales strategy, and marketing best practices. * Promote consistent sales and marketing processes throughout the organization. * Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts and pipeline updates. * Share market intelligence and recommend new products, programs, and offerings that support future growth. Required Qualifications * 5+ years of successful sales, business development, or marketing experience with direct customer-facing responsibilities. * Demonstrated success growing revenue and developing strategic sales channels. * Experience securing and managing contract-based business. * Strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning. * Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. * Ability to build credibility and influence with dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to travel approximately 65% of the time nationwide. * Willingness to relocate to Richmond, Virginia. Preferred Qualifications * Experience within the contract furniture, office furniture, interiors, workplace solutions, or related commercial furnishings industry. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. * Experience leading dealer networks, channel sales, or national account programs. * Strong proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and business reporting tools.
