Position Overview

Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor in Allen, Texas. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity for you to provide high-quality therapeutic services remotely, as well as in face-to-face settings. You will play a critical role in supporting individuals in their journey towards mental wellness and resilience, particularly focusing on trauma recovery.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility to maintain a work-life balance while still engaging deeply with clients. Our team operates in a community health clinic environment, focusing on a holistic, patient-centered approach to mental health care. You will have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, counselors, and support staff, all dedicated to providing trauma-informed care in a supportive atmosphere. Our clinic is open from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, which allows for varied scheduling options and accommodates diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each client’s trauma history and needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.
• Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma and develop essential coping strategies.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a truly integrated approach to patient care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring best practices for client care.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities committed to trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and therapeutic techniques in the field of trauma therapy, integrating new insights into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor at Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center, you will primarily serve a diverse group of clients with a focus on trauma recovery. The patient population may include individuals from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges, including but not limited to childhood trauma, domestic violence, and combat-related stress. Your work will significantly influence their recovery journeys, helping them to build resilience and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, especially in trauma-focused therapies.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience using trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment planning.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
