Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Adult Registered Nurse Setting: Primarily Comprehensive Medical Unit with occasional floating to other Med-Surg units Location: Zanesville, Ohio Start Date: 9/21/2026 or 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Call Requirement: No call Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 3 years of current or recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience Current Epic EMR proficiency required Ability to read telemetry strips and successfully complete telemetry competency testing Active BLS certification Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and comfort floating between Med-Surg units as needed Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing, adult acute care, or travel nursing is preferred Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients Work primarily on a Comprehensive Medical Unit while supporting additional Med-Surg areas when needed Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Document accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes and a smooth unit workflow Maintain high standards of professionalism, reliability, and patient-centered care throughout the assignment Apply now for this Med/Surg RN travel job in Zanesville, Ohio and take the next step in your nursing career.
