Supply Chain AnalystThe Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for driving cost savings and operational efficiency within warehouse and inventory management functions. This role will focus on optimizing off-site storage costs, maximizing facility space utilization, and streamlining the Return to Vendor (RTV) process. The analyst will leverage data-driven insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance and support the company's growth objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze inventory levels and storage patterns to identify opportunities to reduce off-site storage costs.Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize excess stock.Assess current warehouse layouts and storage practices and recommend and support space utilization improvements, including slotting optimization and racking adjustments.Partner with the Procurement team and vendors to improve shipping and delivery quantities to align with facility requirements.Support projects to transition inventory from off-site storage back to the main facility.Monitor, track and streamline the Return to Vendor (RTV) workflow to ensure timely and accurate returns.Identify and address bottlenecks in the RTV process and implement improvements to recover value from returned goods more efficiently.Coordinate with vendors, Customer Support and Finance to expedite RTV resolutions and minimize financial losses.Maintain and publish regular metrics on storage costs, space utilization and RTV performance.Communicate with stakeholders regarding space optimization initiatives, storage strategies and RTV status.Train and support team members on new procedures related to inventory optimization and RTV management.Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Management System Regulation (QMSR), ISO standards and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's core values, including integrity, respect, collaboration and innovation.Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting colleagues and promoting a culture of mutual respect and teamwork.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, striving for operational excellence and efficiency.Promote sustainable practices within the workplace, including waste reduction, recycling and energy conservation.Participate, as applicable, in workshops, training sessions and other activities aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking.Participate in regular training and complete all required training on time.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty exceptionally. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills and/or abilities required:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and supply chain management systems, such as Oracle.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong ownership mindset with the ability to follow through on commitments and take accountability for results.Ability to act with urgency, communicate proactively and keep stakeholders informed.Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with teammates, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and solutions.Ability to contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and recognizing individual and team accomplishments.Education and experience requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations or a related field.3+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, warehouse operations or inventory management.Experience with warehouse layout optimization, RTV processes and inventory analysis preferred.DOT Hazardous Materials training preferred.The annualized base salary range for this role is $53,000 to $82,900 and is bonus eligible.
