Commercial Construction Superintendent – Night Shift - Immediate Opening (Healthcare / Tenant Improvements) Location: San Antonio, TX About the Position Delran Builders is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee a commercial tenant improvement project within an occupied healthcare facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for directing all field operations during the night shift while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of running a jobsite independently while maintaining strong communication with the Project Manager. Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day field operations Supervise subcontractors and coordinate daily work activities Maintain the project schedule and keep work progressing Coordinate material deliveries and inspections Ensure all work complies with project plans and specifications Enforce safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized jobsite Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the schedule Complete daily reports, progress photos, and project documentation Communicate project status, challenges, and upcoming work with the Project Manager Qualifications Minimum 3 years of commercial construction superintendent experience Experience with commercial tenant improvements, occupied renovations, retail, medical, or healthcare projects strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously OSHA 30 Certification preferred Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and construction management software Must be comfortable working independently and making field decisions while maintaining close communication with the Project Manager Schedule Full-time Night Shift Immediate opening Project-based position with opportunities for future projects nationwide We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects.
