Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Asheville, NC. The clinician will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role supports critical care services including trauma, stroke, neonatal intensive care, pediatric care, cardiac and interventional cardiology programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with mechanical ventilators and arterial blood gas interpretation preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Level II trauma centers, comprehensive stroke centers, or neonatal/pediatric intensive care units preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 18:30–19:00 start window for nights.
• Shift type: Nights.
