Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Mckeesport, PA

This role offers a unique opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to develop expertise across multiple critical care areas, including the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and the antibiotic stewardship team. Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and verify medication orders, review medication profiles for appropriateness, and provide clinical services tailored to patient needs within ED and ICU settings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and rounds aligned with practice areas.
• Perform drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults according to established protocols.
• Engage actively in acute patient care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• PGY-1 residency or a minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience.
• Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure.
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health record system preferred.

Location and Schedule:

• Based in State College, PA, home to Penn State and known for its scenic beauty.
• Primarily day shifts with some variable days and afternoon coverage. Shifts are 8 hours in length.

Additional Information:

• Compensation ranges between $108,000 and $169,000 annually, with midpoint at $139,000.
• Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
