Position Overview Nexus Family Healing is hiring Youth Care Professionals for our Mille Lacs agency in Onamia, MN . Nexus‑Mille Lacs offers trauma‑informed, family‑centered, nationally recognized treatment for boys, ages 10‑19, with significant mental health issues and harmful sexual behaviors. Pay & Schedule Full‑time or part‑time Compensation: $20 – $22 an hour Required availability: 6:30 am‑3 pm; 1:30 pm‑10 pm Block scheduling (Tuesday‑Saturday & Sunday‑Thursday) Commute incentive up to $670 every two weeks Location: 407 130th Ave S, Onamia, MN 56359 Benefits Four weeks paid time off in first year Health, dental and vision insurance coverage No‑cost life insurance Short/long‑term disability insurance 401(k) match Talkspace therapy benefit for the whole family Hinge Health benefit for the whole family Carrot fertility benefit Tuition assistance and training opportunities Advancement pathways and internal promotion Responsibilities Supervise client daily activities and behavior according to established trauma‑informed, strengths‑based guidelines Collaborate with coworkers as a team to implement trauma‑informed treatment plans and therapeutic services Ensure client emotional and physical safety and maintain a positive, respectful, clean, strengths‑based, therapeutic environment Assist with off‑campus client activities and transportation for home visits, doctor appointments, and recreational activities Work effectively with clients’ families and support networks to reinforce positive family partnerships Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum age 18 years Valid driver’s license and comply with Nexus and state driving requirements Successful DHS criminal background check All client‑facing employees must complete the Handle With Care behavior intervention method exam and training Preferred Experience working with families and trauma‑exposed children and adolescents in a residential treatment or counseling capacity Physical Demands Assist staff in physical interventions and restraints of clients Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr
