Event Staff / Booth Assistant - Arlington County Fair

A local vendor is seeking a reliable, outgoing Booth Assistant to support general booth operations at the Arlington County Fair. This short-term, temporary role involves greeting visitors, distributing samples, and maintaining a clean, welcoming booth environment. No sales or specialized product knowledge is required. The assistant will work as part of a small team and report to the team lead during the event.
Responsibilities
- Greet fair visitors and distribute samples.
- Assist customers with general inquiries and needs.
- Maintain booth cleanliness and a presentable appearance.
- Assist with booth breakdown and pack-out on Sunday evening.
- Stand for the majority of each shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Punctual, dependable, and comfortable engaging with the public.
- Able to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 30 lbs during pack-out.
- Reliable, independent transportation to the fairgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in event support, retail, or food service.
