SummaryThe Senior Operations Manager in Danbury is a key leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations at our Danbury factory, inclusive of manufacturing, logistics, and systems teams. The Senior Operations Manager, Danbury reports directly to the Vice President, Logistics/ Customization Americas.What You'll DoProvide overall leadership and direction for multiple departments within the factory including assembly/manufacturing, logistics and systems.Overall site responsibility for safety, continuous improvement, and facilities functionsDevelop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving lean initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.Lead and motivate a diverse organization of 200 + individuals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve departmental goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.Plan and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and efficient allocation of materials and human resources.Who You AreBachelors Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.7+ years of proven experience in operations management, preferably site leadership responsibilities.Background in both manufacturing and logistics environments.Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer focused-driven environment.Proficiency in using technology and software applications relevant to operations management such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Who We AreAt Belimo, we take pride in making our company a rewarding place to work. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,000 - $165,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 20% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
