Job Description This RN contract opportunity is located at Tsehootsooi Medical Center in Fort Defiance, Arizona, offering a chance to work in a busy Emergency Department with a variety of clinical areas. The role involves providing nursing care across the main ED, fast track, and observation units, with duties rotating regularly to keep the work engaging. You’ll assist with triage, rapid registration, Covid testing, and immunization clinics, adapting to the changing needs of the department. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for 13 weeks, with a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, and a weekly commitment of 36 hours. Flexibility to float to other departments and perform task-oriented duties is included. This position offers the chance to experience a diverse scope of emergency nursing in a supportive environment that values adaptability and teamwork. Candidates must have a minimum of two years recent RN experience in emergency or acute care settings, along with current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and conscious sedation. Certification in conscious sedation can be obtained through the facility for a fee of $105.
