Shift Manager

This position is for a Shift Manager at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not directly employed by McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. Shift Managers perform tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to meet standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for a great shift. Shift Managers also may be responsible for meeting targets and helping their assigned Departments meet their goals. As a Shift Manager, You May Be Responsible For Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older.
