Job Description & Requirements Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) – StartDate: ASAP. Available Shifts: 12. Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50. This facility is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) – Orthopedic Trauma Surgery for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity Schedule: Ongoing coverage; 5–7 days per week. Primary shift 6:00 am–2:00 pm. Additional shifts available: Day, Night, and Weekend 24-hour call coverage. Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital setting Types of Cases: Orthopedic trauma surgery, fracture reductions, washouts, trauma consults, hospital coverage, post-operative care, and trauma call coverage. Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days Electronic Medical Record (EMR): eClinicalWorks. Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Licensure Required: Active South Carolina PA license required. South Carolina DEA and South Carolina Controlled Substances Registration (CDS) are required prior to application.
