About the Position

Job Title: Outpatient Surgery Center Pre/Post RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years, with preference for ambulatory/outpatient experience. License: Valid State RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring Airway assessment Medication reconciliation Pre/Post Operative procedures Cataract and retina experience Description: We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Surgery Center Pre/Post RN. This position involves caring for patients in a fast-paced outpatient surgery environment. Candidates must have specialty experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings. You will be responsible for patient assessments and recovery protocols. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Knowledge of the ALCON Unity machine is required for this role. Candidates must have experience with pre-op and post-op management. The role does not include weekend or holiday shifts. You will work to ensure patient safety and satisfaction while providing high-quality care. Candidates will float within the hospital as needed to meet facility requirements.
