This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional who wants to move beyond simply managing engagements. You'll develop and manage your own client portfolio, mentor staff, work directly with firm leadership, and have a track to partnership for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients
• Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and other clients
• Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts
• Plan, prepare, and review tax returns
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
• Provide accounting, consulting, and other non-attest services
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting and financial matters
• Supervise and mentor staff while helping develop future leaders
• Collaborate with firm leadership on client service and growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required
• 3-5+ years of audit and/or tax experience in public accounting
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and multiple engagements
• Strong project management and supervisory experience
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex accounting and financial concepts effectively
• Desire to take ownership of client relationships and develop into a larger leadership role
• Interest in a long-term partner-track opportunity
• Farm and agricultural tax experience is a plus, but not required
