Mobile X-ray and EKG Technician
Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other clinical settings. Ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic procedures while maintaining safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform diagnostic X-ray exams.
- Unload, transport, and set up portable X-ray equipment at various facilities.
- Capture clinically diagnostic, technically competent radiographic images for interpretation.
- Perform EKGs as required and transmit results to a Cardiologist for review.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and healthcare staff to coordinate scheduling and ensure quality service.
- Maintain and troubleshoot X-ray equipment and service vehicle to ensure readiness and safety.
Qualifications:
- Hold current ARRT certification and valid state licenses.
- Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Be physically capable of pushing/pulling up to 50-100 lbs, with proper safety protocols.
- Demonstrate strong communication and professional interaction skills.
- Comply with vaccination requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination or proper exemption documentation.
- Prior experience with mobile X-ray and EKG procedures is preferred.
