Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program as a full-time remote Mental Health Counselor. This role is integral to providing mental health services to students facing a variety of challenges, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma. Your expertise will significantly enhance our students' emotional well-being and academic success.

Work Environment\n

This full-time position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with students via our telehealth platform. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and on-call availability required. Our telehealth facility is equipped with secure, HIPAA-compliant technology that enables you to conduct assessments and therapy sessions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, integrating information from parents, educators, and other professionals.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues and emotional challenges.
  • \n
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on enhancing coping strategies and emotional regulation.
  • \n
  • Facilitate crisis interventions and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies.
  • \n
  • Engage in continuous collaboration with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure individualized holistic care.
  • \n
  • Educate students and families about various mental health conditions and available resources.
  • \n
  • Maintain meticulous documentation according to legal and ethical standards and complete reports as required.
  • \n
  • Actively participate in staff development activities, team meetings, and case conferences to contribute to a collaborative work culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on students with diverse special needs, including but not limited to those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and those who have faced trauma. You will play a vital role in helping these students navigate their educational journeys by providing essential mental health support tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state where you practice.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating tailored treatment plans.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Two years of post-licensure experience in clinical social work, ideally within a school or special education environment.
  • \n
  • Experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a variety of evidence-based approaches.
  • \n
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and an ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
