Grants and Project Specialist

Position Overview The Grants and Project Specialist is a key driver of grants management and knowledge integration for the Institutional Partnerships (IP) team. This role is responsible for driving progress towards all key fundraising deliverables across the team by tracking deadlines, monitoring progress towards completion, and supporting in pulling key information related to funder proposals and reports as deemed appropriate. The Grants and Project Specialist will also compile application materials for their own small portfolio of renewal reports and proposals, which may increase over time, and supporting call materials for the team as deemed appropriate. Simultaneously, this role will ensure that contracts, communications, and key data and metrics are captured in a systematized way for the IP Team. The Grants and Project Specialist is also an internal point person for the IP team, that serves as a bridge to information across the organization including key market-level data, organizational context, stories, and updates from other Jumpstart teams. The Grants and Project Specialist will both aggregate and organize this information in a thoughtful way and support comprehensive updates and concept development. The successful candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills and is collaborative, optimistic, detail‑oriented, and demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fundraising capacity and a track record of strong project management skills.
