Opportunity Overview The Teradyne Product Support Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Senior Engineer to provide world class support to the current and future generations of Teradyne Semiconductor Test Products.This role is enabled by an in-depth knowledge of Teradyne's product offerings coupled with a desire to provide timely solutions across an evolving customer Landscape. The Product Support Engineer role is a dynamic global support opportunity that spans an array of engineeringdisciplines.This individual will report directly to the Semiconductor Test Product Support Engineering Manager.Represent PSG as a core team member on both existing and new productsWork with the field team and engineering (SW and HW) as a lead on field issues and escalations in both the field and factoryAssist with identifying root cause to increase system up timeWork as part of the new product integration team by:Participating in new product team meetingsWorking with design engineering to design in serviceability (DFS)Lead installation and serviceability discussions as part of design reviewsSupport system install requirements and work with install coordinator onrequired tools, resources, etc.Develop a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) strategyOrganize, schedule and project manage field upgradesManage training for Teradyne field service engineersDevelop support documentationMonitor system and new product reliabilityGenerate reliability reports based on field issuesTravel expectations are less than 20% of work requirementsAll About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Degree Required; Bachelors of Science in Engineering (MFG, EE, ME, etc)10+ years of experienceAbility to lead a high priority new product from a product support standpoint and provide mentorship to other engineers on the teamCritical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex issuesDetailed understanding of mechanical design drawings and/or electrical schematicsMust be self-motivated, team oriented, and "hands-on"Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work with limited supervision and with cross-functional teamsAbility to create detailed documentationProduct Support and/or automation experience desiredThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $121,100 to 193,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
